Labelad has over 130 talented employees committed to making a difference.
With a customer focus, we are organized into the following teams:
At Labelad, the training and development of our people is a key priority. We extensively cross train our employees to ensure continuous operation of key processes and to provide employees with the opportunity to expand their skills. In addition, we have on-going training programs in Lean Manufacturing Methods, Six Sigma Methods, Leadership/Management and Solution Selling. Also, through our association with the Assocation for Manufacturing Excellence (AME) and the High Performance Manufacturing (HPM) Consortium, we host and attend learning exchanges with other World Class Manufacturing Companies.
Labelad achieves both our quality and speed to market goals by having highly reliable lean business processes.
Labelad uses Lean Six Sigma methods to continually improve our key business processes.
Labelad has been a member in the HPM Lean Consortium for over 2 years. Along with 12 other member companies, Labelad shares best practices in our continuous Lean Six Sigma journey.
Pillars of the Lean philosophy
Lean and Six Sigma are complementary in nature. While lean focuses on the elimination of non-value added steps, Six Sigma focuses on reducing the variation in the steps/activities that remain.
Lean ensures we are working on the right things and Six Sigma ensures we are doing the right things the right way every time.
Once waste has been identified in the current state, Six Sigma will be used to formulate the plan to reach the future state. Lean defines and establishes the value flow as pulled by the customer and Six Sigma makes the value flow smoothly without interruption.
